Will you partner with us?

As we prepare to plant a church, we seek to develop intentional, strategic, and relational partnerships with churches and individuals. We are not seeking these partnerships just because we need help (although we do!) but because the Scriptures convince us that these relationships lead to mutual growth, encouragement, and perseverance in gospel ministry.

Ways To Partner
Join Our Core Team

We need brothers and sisters to move and join us in work! We need singles, families, empty nesters, those gifted with teaching, service, hospitality, evangelism, and all of the other gifts you can think of – all of it to help us proclaim Christ and advance His kingdom to every hill & hollow. Specifically, we pray that the Lord would establish a core team of 12-15 adults this year to join us in launching Rowan Community Church.

Cheerful Giving

As a church plant, our members will be committed to cheerful and regular giving, but it likely won’t be enough to sustain our projected budget for the first few years. A large portion of this budget would be a salary for our planting pastor. This salary intends to free Pastor Joshua to devote his energies to the Word, prayer, shepherding the sheep, evangelism, and administrative tasks. Besides pastoral salary, our church plant will eventually require funds for the necessary venue, equipment, and supplies to host public worship gatherings so that our future friends and neighbors can come to worship with us. Our prayer is by clearly teaching the Scriptures, faithfully engaging our friends and neighbors, and with the Lord’s help, we would have a membership that could meet its own financial needs.

We currently have 50% of an annual budget in pledged funds from our sending church, various planting agencies, other partner churches, and partnering individuals with commitments varying from 1 to 5 years. Has the Lord blessed the work of your hands? Do you have a heart to see this region reached? We would love for you to give $75, $100, or $250 per month for 3-5 years to support our plant in its earliest stages.

Partners Through Prayer

As a church, RCC is committed to expectant prayer. Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus instructed His disciples to persistently pray with great confidence that God the Father will provide whatever is best. As we strive to follow these instructions, we long for individuals and churches to come alongside us to cast our cares on Him, pray that His kingdom would advance in Rowan County, with an expectation that He will answer, and answer in ways far more gracious and abundantly than we could think or ask.

As we start this planting work, we ask that you commit to regularly praying with and for us. You can stay updated on particular requests through our newsletter, following us on social media, or contacting us directly.
